It's an interesting story. Part Cessna, part Ford. They weren't very high and the right wing folded. Struck a tree and then hit a truck. Apparently they didn't have clearance to take off either. It was both inventors who died.

Didn't know anyone died or that it even crashed, Just remembers seeing an article about it in Hot Rod magazine a long time ago, As far as it bursting into a fireball, well, That's what Pintos were known for
Even though that was also an exaggeration, was based on a memo that DIDN'T say what people said it did and it was proven to be no more dangerous than any other car built at that time
