Template Zoom option

When designing graphics for a car it is difficult to see your progress. The car is just way too small. I think it would be nice/easier to have either a zoom option to aid lining up of graphics. Or to make the car we see bigger.

there is a zoom option, it just only zooms in to the middle of the template so it makes it impossible to do any fine details on the edges.
but yeah, we definately need a better zooming option where you can actually move the zoom to the sides, front and back of the template instead of just the middle

edit* i misread, you mean zooming in on the car itself to use as a reference right? i agree with that as well, it is hard to see where things are on the car sometimes

Yeah that little tiny car in the bottom left. Many times I've think I've finished a car. But then when I buy it and get a decent size pic, there's something misaligned. It just wastes GC's unnecessarily.

well you can click the little arrows button next to the tiny pic in the left and it will give you a bigger view of the car. you probably figured that out already though.



a problem i find is that it's kinda glitchy with differing views. what i mean is from one side everything is right but when you switch to another view to see a different side the thing that looked right on the first side is completely out of whack on the other side.

I didn't know about that view. Lol oh well. Still it is glitchy as you say. Some cars are worse than others. The javelin's one that springs to mind.

An editor I'd like to see in CT is one that works with a solid 3D car. Getting rid of the templates we use now. Most game's I can think of use a car and not a template. The system we have now isn't great. Having to download, start vinyl, save, upload, check every 2 secs for alligning/size, make changes, check again etc etc. But then you probably couldn't share them. Unless you traded car. Which well..... We know that's not likely.
